What is personal data

Personal data includes any information, on paper or electronic media, which can lead, either directly or in combination with other data, to the unique identification of an individual or to their identification as a natural person. This category includes name, email address, home address, landline, mobile phone, etc. and any other information that allows the unique identification of a natural person according to the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law 4624/2019 (GDPR), and the decisions of the Personal Data Protection Authority (PDPA).

Scope of policy

The protection of individuals against the processing of personal data is of utmost importance for LISIS LOSS ADJUSTERS LTD. For this reason, the collection and processing of personal data by the Company is carried out only in accordance with the General Regulation and the generally applicable legislation and only where this is required in relation to the Company’s business activity. The Company allows access only to authorized persons and takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the data, among other things, from loss, incorrect handling, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.

The personal data collected by the Company is contact details, postal and electronic address, telephone number (landline, mobile number), home address.

Purposes for collection of personal data

The above personal data is used solely for fulfilling the Company’s objectives and responsibilities and is disclosed only to the insurance company/co-insurance companies that have commissioned us to prepare an expert report.

No personal Data collected is used for any other purpose.

Personal Data is kept on file until the compensation process is completed.

Personal Data, upon request from the data subject, is permanently erased and is not transferred in any way to anyone.

By providing this information, customers consent and accept the processing of this information for the purposes stated in this policy.

Rights of Data Subjects

Data subjects can exercise the following rights:

  • of access,
  • to rectification of inaccuracies and deficiencies,
  • of erasure
  • to restriction of processing, the right to withdraw their consent and object to the processing of personal data as well as the right to obtain human intervention in automated processes,
  • the right to data portability,
  • the right to submit an official complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
